Hello to all our readers,

This was a pending post from me, "Hallucinations".

This was a particular piece cause when I was in the process of painting it, came to my mind a lot of crazy staff, dreams, nightmares, fears, hope... a mixture of feelings that brought this images alive.

Hallucinations are not only when your mind plays tricks on you, reach inside your head and find a bizarre world that is contained on your mind boundaries, just take a sneak peak up there and let me know what do you find ;)

Hi there,

I know it´s been a while since I don´t post, but I was really busy working my *** of, however I have been doing some sketches and here are the results; see for yourselves and please give me any suggestions you have regarding my art.

1. This is how I started... a simple sketch.

2. Then I add some rough color.

2a. Then it´s a matter of details and hard work.

details... details... details... (thats the secret)

3. Then the final lights... and we are ready to roll.

Hallucinations

This post was inspired by an article I read in one of the many gossip newspapers given around the city, MX....among photos and letters there rested a small but interesting article about the sale of mushrooms in Holland.. the land of "you can pretty much do whatever you want!".. you know drugs, kamikase maryjane, hookers, etc, etc.. anyway...
as you would know magic mushrooms are allowed there in the coffee shops, people are more keen to buy them as they don't create dependance as others... the thing is... and here goes the funny part....people that consume this magic seed of nature usually end up commiting suicide by jumping of buildings!!!! in a state of "hallucination".....weird!.. but true!.. and statistics claim that of 148 crazy consumers, 138 are tourists....there you go.... keep hallucinating....

Next topic will be... The hallucinations, what ever we may see and it´s not there; in a conscious state, or not... it´s all about looking at things that in reality don´t exists.

But then comes out the question, what is the "reality"?... mmmm eeehhh ... that it´s a field we don´t want to get in, we just want to draw period.

Today´s post it´s about the FLU.

Post suggested by Mela and I´m sure she has this on mind because her unhealthy situation.... naaahhh just kidding I´m was the one with the flue, but the truth is that she suggested the post.

So here it is, I try to define what could be an ugly flu monster and it´s like a predictable result but I kind of like it. It´s my pretty flu monster.

Ill tell you what a bad mood is...is when you are just starting something that promises to be good and then someone gets a call about having to go to work,, or better yet.. to go on a cruise!...at the end, it all finishes like a past promise made last year, around this same time of year...about a drawing each day....promises, promises...aaa promises.

Todays idea is "a bad mood".

Sometimes we get up from bed feeling like crap, or the day turns heavy and pisses you off, or we are simply in a bad mood, so it´s pretty much about it.

The Beginning

Ok, this is how it goes; two graphic designers, one in Australia, one in South America, and both with nothing better to do that making a Blog about themselves and their art. So here we are, with a place to post our daily art, whatever we want, whenever we want.

The idea is to have a daily concept and start to scratch based on that, users will be able to see the daily update and post their comments regarding the art, or making suggestions about new ideas for further drawings.

So, this is the beginning, Stinking Retards goes ON AIR now...
